Welp, I have officially made the switch to Ubuntu, and for some reason, everyone in my entire family is pissed off at me

... my aunt in particular probably doesn't even want to recognize me as a relative anymore because of what I did to the computer! I just wanna say this, though: Is installing a new OS really something to get pissed off about? Especially when I carefully made sure that every file on our old OS was backed up and then put back on here when the install was done? Is it so bad that all MS Office/PowerPoint/Excel files are completely compatible with OpenOffice? Is it a crime to have a new OS that offers a new world of possibilities, not to mention one that offers far more security than Windows ever could? I ask of you, what do you think of my plight? I really need a hug right now...
