Well, it was bound to happen eventually... I left my PSP on my bed, as I usually do, but my twin brother, being an idiot, decides that he wants to take a nap on
my bed, despite the fact that he has a bed of his own. Anyways, as he put his knees down on my bed, one of his knees shattered the screen on my PSP. Needless to say, when I found out he broke it, I wanted to f***ing KILL him! I worked all summer to get that thing, and now, it's trash! Does anybody want to say something about this, or can anyone recommend anything to do with my (now broken) PSP?
UPDATE: Play-N-Trade was able to take it in to get the screen fixed, I should be able to get it back in about a week (miracles DO happen!

I thought you would be the last person to have a broken psp because your so protective over it and all
But anyways dude, sorry for your loss (psp's death)
lol
And mines still a piece if shit and its been unbroken for almost 4 years
anyway, I might be able to get it fixed... PlayNTrade at the White Oak might be able to replace the screen (not sure, I'll have to go down there and see if it's salvageable)

right?
Just like maybe 40 for the repair or something
btw, I'd only need a PSP, not a whole entertainment pack, so it'd be about $170

Sarcasm aside, having recently acquired a used PSP-1000 myself with all the caveats that entails (no manual and whatnot), can you recommend some care and maintenance tips beyond the obvious?

So you bought the original brick PSP, huh? If the screen's in good shape, 1: get some screen protectors for it (they prevent scratches and the like...), not to mention a hard case for it (if you can find one for the original model, of course). 2: Keep the receipt, you'll never know when you'll need it. 3: Don't leave it in places where it can get broken! Even though the PSP-1000 is tougher than the newer models, you should still exercise common sense when putting your PSP somewhere. Anyways, that's all I can think of for now... btw, did your PSP come with a charger?

All good tips, especially the screen protectors, though now I'm wondering what to do about the scratches that are already there...
